What are people saying about Mas Lou Poun

Such a nice place in a beautiful area! The house is gorgeous - peaceful, secluded and very well looked after, and Andy was an excellent host! He took the time to give us lots of recommendations for the area and answer all our questions. His advice was great and the local area is a wonderful place to visit - beautiful walks in the mountains, a fantastic French restaurant in the nearest village, and the nearest farm sells delicious homemade goats cheese. Very much recommended - I'd love to go back.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana increíble con mi pareja. el lugar, la casa, la ubicación, el río muy cercano y todas las comodidades hicieron una estadía genial. Lo recomiendo mucho!!

MICA, BARCELONA, APRIL 2017

My partner and I stayed at Andy's place for three nights during January 2017. Andy kindly warned us before we set off it would be pretty cold during our stay so we ensured to pack plenty of warm clothing. It was dark when we arrived in France so we were a little concerned about locating the property but Andy's instructions led us straight to it. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Andy's friend Fabien who gave us an overview of the property so we knew where everything was. The accommodation itself was beautiful. I think they said it had previously been a sheep shed which they had renovated to a very high spec. It was very quaint and comfortable and extremely cozy, made so by the huge roaring log burner which heated the whole place! Upon our arrival the shops were all closed so the goodies which Fabien had kindly been left for us - bread, eggs, pastries, milk, tea, coffee and wine - were all extremely welcome! I was very excited about waking up the following morning to finally take in the sights of the surrounding area and it certainly did not disappoint. The accommodation sat in the valley with amazing views up to the snowcapped mountains and down to the river. It was so peaceful with just the sound of the river below and the birds in the trees. Any stress seemed to just fall away. Even the water pipes having frozen overnight didn't affect the mood and having to boil water collected from the fountain only seem to add to the adventure, and the chocolate brownies Fabien baked to compensate certainly helped too! Fortunately Fabien managed to defrost the pipes during the day so we were able to enjoy a hot and powerful shower that evening - the best shower ever! We had visited the area before so we enjoyed taking in the local sights of Corsavy and Arles sur Tech. On our last night we enjoyed a lovely meal in a restaurant in Arles sur Tech that had recently been taken over by a young couple who were hoping to develop it, well worth a visit. Overall our stay was cozy, comfortable, peaceful and in a beautiful location. This accommodation comes highly recommended and we hope to visit again ourselves one day.

LISA, LONDON, JANUARY 2017

La Bergerie in Corsavy is one of those special and unique finds. It is like stepping into a beautiful dream that you never want to leave. It was a very comfortable stay for our family (two adults and two children) and the cottage had everything that we needed. We were able to cook in the well equipped kitchen and wash clothes when needed. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and and provided advice and local tips whenever we asked. The main house is far enough away that La Bergerie feels very private. The sound of the river is very soothing. There is plenty to do in the Tech Valley and there are wonderful places to eat nearby. La Bergerie is a find and one of our favourite Air BNBs ever! We definitely plan to return!

We knew that the cottage would be beautiful as we had seen the photos but what a serene place. Really enjoyed having breakfasts on the balcony and going down to the river with the kids. A very relaxing house, private and great for bringing kids due to privacy and modern amenities. We enjoyed visiting nearby villages and walking up the road to the cheese farm. Thank you Andy, Ian & Jenny from the four of us.

A beautiful chalet set into the mountains. You have the sound of the river flowing below and the sound of the trees against the wind above... A true retreat! The gorgeous family is only a field away if you need them. They are super friendly and went out their way to make a special baby friendly staircase for us. They give you all the information and advice you can ever want but still all the privacy you could ever need. I can see why they are super host!

The Bergerie is a beautiful place. We loved the tasteful decoration, comfortable bed, fireplace, and incredible countryside! We walked for hours every day and there are so many different routes to explore around the house. Andy and his family were fantastic hosts and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!

We found the house tasteful, functional, comfortable and loved being there. It is a marvelous place, quite isolated and perfect for nature lovers who like comfort. There are lots of fabulous walks nearby.
